Window In Time 1888. The script on the pendant comes from a letter, written in 1888, that is part of Susan's family history (the handwriting runs both horizontally and vertically on the page to conserve paper). The letter was written to a woman who had emigrated by ship from England to New Zealand - hence the porthole feel. The design was inspired by the desire to see more than just the 'snapshot' view of their lives that a single remaining letter provides.
